About Beer, Cheese & Football
Take part in this three-part series to learn about the traditions of beer making, cheese making and the Packers in Northeast Wisconsin. Instructors include experts from Titletown Brewing Company, Festival Foods, the Milk Marketing Board, and the Packers Hall of Fame. Please note that registrants must be 21 years or older due to beer tasting. Valid IDs will be checked. You may register for one, two or all three workshops.
Session 1: (CHEESE) Saturday, July 20, 2013 - 9 AM to 11 AM
Learn about the history and process of cheesemaking, get tips for entertaining with cheese and learn about cheese pairings. Presenters: Cindy Schmitt, deli supervisor at Festival Foods, and Peter Leuer, Midwest regional marketing manager at the Milk Marketing Board. Registration Deadline is July 12, 2013.
Session 2: (FOOTBALL) Saturday, July 27, 2013 - 9 AM to 11 AM
Ever wonder how northeast Wisconsin became home to the Green Bay Packers and Titletown? Learn why the game of football is such an important part of Wisconsin culture. Presenter: Kristen Broderick, Hall of Fame assistant/educational coordinator. Registration Deadline is July 19, 2013
Session 3: (BEER) Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 - 1 PM to 4 PM
Beermaking has been an economic boon to Wisconsin since the early days of the state's history. In recent years, many local brews have found their way to store shelves and taverns. Learn how the process of making and marketing this favorite beverage of many Wisconsinites has changed over the last 100 years. Presenter: Local brewmaster from Titletown Brewing Company. Registration Deadline is July 26, 2013.
$30 per person per session
Full refunds will be given up until the start of the workshop. Once the workshop starts, fees are non-refundable. Workshops are subject to cancellation if they do not have sufficient enrollment.
