About Spices Around the World
For centuries, people around the world made use of locally available spices to create meals with a culturally unique flavor. Learn to create delicious and nutritious meals using herbs, spices and aromatics from around the globe. Broaden your knowledge of spices, their origins, flavors and uses in this class.
Susan Beno will teach Spices Around the World. Beno brings years of cooking expertise to the table. She instructs cooking and nutrition classes at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Cook's Corner and the Farm Market Kitchen. For several years, Beno owned and operated her own restaurant, Cafe Susan, in Bellevue, Wis. She serves on the board of directors of the Farm Market Kitchen in Algoma, Wis., and teaches Zumba classes at the Green Bay and De Pere YWCAs.
Registration deadline is October 6, 2014
$40 per person, includes instruction, food and materials
Full refunds will be given up until the start of the workshop. Once the workshop starts, fees are non-refundable. Workshops are subject to cancellation if they do not have sufficient enrollment.
